Matcha Smoothie

Matcha is not just an elegant green tea from Japan; it’s also a superfood that has captured the hearts of health enthusiasts around the globe. With its vibrant green color and unique properties, matcha has become a star ingredient in the kitchen – featured in everything from desserts to beverages.

Today, I’ll show you how to prepare a refreshing and energy-boosting matcha smoothie. It’s the perfect choice for a quick breakfast, a post-workout snack, or a moment of relaxation during the day. All you need are simple ingredients, a few minutes, and a blender to enjoy a delicious, creamy smoothie packed with antioxidants, energy, and an amazing flavor.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder I use from MOYA MATCHA
  • 1 cup unsweetened cashew milk – or any milk of your choice (My Homemade Milk : recipe you can find here you can find here )
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup spinach – optional, for an added nutrition boost
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds – optional
  • 1 tablespoon – optional (or honey or sweetener of choice (I didn’t add it because the sweetness of the banana is perfect for me)

Instructions:

Put all ingredients in your blender. Add the matcha green tea powder last to avoid it sticking to the bottom of the blender.
Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy. You might need to pause and scrape down the sides of the blender a couple of times to make sure everything gets blended.
Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness if necessary. If the smoothie is too thick for your liking, you can add a little more milk and blend again.
Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!
