Turkey balls with juicy zucchini and cheese, served in an aromatic tomato sauce.

Hi!

December! Isn’t it a wonderful time of the year? Outside, snow is gently falling, and the atmosphere is filled with magic and anticipation. On such a wintry day, when our stomachs start craving something delicious, there is no better solution than treating ourselves to the best dinner.

Today, I have a proposition for you that will provide not only warming pleasure but also excellent taste. I present to you Turkey balls with juicy zucchini and cheese, served in an aromatic tomato sauce. This combination of fresh vegetables, the delicacy of turkey meat, and the richness of cheese accents will make your taste buds soar in culinary ecstasy.

Turkey balls with zucchini and cheese in tomato sauce are the perfect dish for a winter dinner. Juicy and aromatic turkey meat, combined with the delicate texture of zucchini and the creaminess of cheese, create a harmonious whole. The aromatic tomato sauce, slightly spicy with a hint of sourness, gives the dish a unique flavor, emphasizing the natural qualities of the ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 500g minced turkey
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 whole zucchini – grate
  • 1 onion
  • cheddar cheese
  • Tomato
  • Passata

Instructions:

In a bowl, combine the meat, chopped onion, grated zucchini (drained from the water, remember about it), 70g (or more) of cheddar cheese and season with salt and pepper and your favorite spices.

We make balls, each should be 40g – but you can make what you think is best for you.

Boil the water with salt and put the rezeni in batches of 5 balls and cook for 7-10 minutes.
Spread the stripes on the bottom of the dish, sprinkle with cheese and put the turkey balls drained from the water.
In a pot, combine chopped tomatoes with passata, season with spicy spices, pepper, salt, hot pepper, turmeric and whatever else you like, and fresh basil and oregano. Cook for 10 minutes, repeat the operation until all the balls are dotted.
In the meantime, in a pot, combine chopped tomatoes with passata, season with spicy spices, pepper, salt, hot pepper, turmeric and whatever else you like. Cook 10 min.

Pour the balls into the dish

Transfer the balls to the dish, pour the tomato sauce and sprinkle with fresh basil and cover with cheddar cheese.
Put in the oven until the cheese melts.

* You can make the dish earlier or the day before, but remember that the heating time of the meat will be longer, so I recommend taking it out of the fridge 1 hour earlier and baking it in the oven for 30 minutes – It’s best to observe.

Enjoy !
