Green Kohlrabi Cream Soup.

When you run out of ideas and it’s a bit sad and cold outside, I’m here to help you with an idea for a soup that will warm up your hands and feet. Today there will be Green Kohlrabi Cream Soup. Contrary to appearances, cream soups are actually a great alternative to any vegetable if you don’t like it. You can enrich this cream soup with mocarella or bacon and it will give you a great taste and an exquisite dish.

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 kohlrabi, 350 g after peeling
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 40 g butter
  • 1.5 cups of water
  • 1.5 cups of broth/broth
  • spices: salt, pepper, garam masala

Instructions:

Melt the butter in a pot and fry the diced onion and garlic in it. I add the kohlrabi cut into larger cubes and stew for about 5 minutes. I pour water and season.

I cook for 30 minutes over low heat. After 30 minutes, pour in the broth and cook for another 10 minutes.

I blend everything into a smooth cream.

I don’t use a lot of spices because the broth I prepare is always very intense.

Serum with your favorite additions – mozzarella, croutons, bacon, cream
