Healthy Donuts

Hi!

Who doesn’t love pączki? Pączki with rose, chocolate, or custard filling, glazed with icing or sprinkled with powdered sugar. That taste will always stay with me, and I will remember it from my childhood years. Just like everyone else, I enjoy this sweet pleasure and indulge in it with relish. So, I have decided to present to you my two favorite recipes for incredibly delicious and delicate pączki in a healthy version, which I have tested and searched for the best flavor. With minimal ingredients and a very simple preparation method.

Snickers Donuts

Ingredients: – Makes 6 donuts

  • 2 eggs
  • 40g 36% sour cream
  • 20g coconut flour
  • 20g almond flour
  • 5-10g cocoa powder
  • 3 drops of Toffee sweetener or Erythritol, plus cake flavoring.

Recipe:

Mix all the ingredients together and transfer to silicone molds. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 10-15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the molds – preferably using a convection setting.

After baking and cooling the donuts, slice them open and spread whipped cream sweetened with a sweetener. Put them back together. Top with caramel and nuts. This time, I used a ready-made sugar-free cream, but you can make caramel yourself by cooking coconut cream with erythritol, butter, and a pinch of salt.

I love baked donuts. How about you?

Chocolate Donuts

Ingredients: -6 pieces

  • 2 eggs
  • 60g coconut flour
  • 60g whey protein isolate (I use MCT Keto Shake)
  • 150g coconut milk (can be substituted with 36% heavy cream)
  • 20g cocoa powder

Mix the ingredients together and pour into silicone molds. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 10-12 minutes. You can use muffin molds, but then check with a toothpick for dryness. Decorate with melted dark chocolate and sprinkle with chocolate flakes.

I hope you’ll enjoy this alternative version of a donut as well, but please, please share your impressions with me on Instagram.

Enjoy !
