Hi!
Creamy Zucchini Blueberry Smoothie
Today, I have for you a delicious, healthy, and energy-packed recipe for a Creamy Zucchini Blueberry Smoothie. It’s the perfect option for a quick breakfast or a refreshing snack throughout the day. While zucchini may seem like an unusual ingredient in a smoothie, when combined with blueberries and a few other ingredients, it creates an incredibly tasty, creamy, and vitamin-rich blend.
Ingredients:
- 136 g frozen banana
- 148 g frozen wild blueberries (organic when possible)
- 41 g stem celery
- 82 g sliced zucchini (fresh or frozen)
- 30 g greens spinach
- 10 g hemp seeds (or sub protein powder)
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 240 ml unsweetened cashew milk (my homemade cashew milk) or sub water
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend on high until creamy and smooth. Taste and adjust flavor as needed, adding more cinnamon for warmth/spice, banana for sweetness, or zucchini for creaminess.
Divide between 2 serving glasses (or more or less if altering batch size) and garnish with blueberries and hemp seeds (optional). Best when fresh. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator up to 24 hours.
