2-ingredient Quinoa Bread
A simple, healthy, and gluten-free bread recipe! This 2-ingredient quinoa bread is a true revolution in the kitchen. It contains no gluten, eggs, dairy, sugar, or any unnecessary additives—just natural, wholesome quinoa and water. The bread is slightly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfect as a base for both savory and sweet toppings. It’s rich in protein, fiber, and essential amino acids, making it an excellent choice for those following a healthy diet. The preparation is incredibly simple—just soak, blend, and bake!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup (200 g) of raw quinoa
- 180–210 ml of water – add just enough liquid to blend the quinoa thoroughly, the batter should be quite thick
- salt
ADDITIONALLY (optional)
- 2 teaspoons of basil
- 1 teaspoon of dried tomatoes (finely diced)
- 1/3 teaspoon of turmeric
- pepper
- cumin and black cumin – to sprinkle on top
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Rinse the quinoa under the tap in a fine sieve. Carefully remove excess water.
Blend all the ingredients (except cumin and black cumin) in a blender until smooth and fairly thick.
Pour the dough onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and spread it with a spoon into a round cake about 1 cm thick or even thinner.
Sprinkle the top with any spices.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, then turn the bread over and bake for 10–15 minutes.
