Body brushing – power and beauty

Hi!

Discovering the benefits of dry brushing, I didn’t expect such fantastic results, and now I can’t imagine my morning and evening routines without it.

Dry brushing the body is becoming increasingly popular for firming the skin on thighs, abdomen, buttocks, and arms. However, the advantages of dry brushing go beyond improving the appearance of the body; it also helps reduce irritation after shaving or leg waxing, minimizes the visibility of stretch marks, and provides a blissful relaxation!

When I started my journey with dry brushing, I had mixed feelings. Firstly, I experienced tremendous discomfort, unsure if I was using the brush correctly, and, to top it off, I didn’t see any results.

When I first embarked on dry brushing, I had a lot of mixed feelings. First and foremost, I experienced a great deal of discomfort, unsure if I was executing the brush strokes correctly, and, what’s more, I wasn’t seeing any results.

I took a break from dry brushing for a while and decided to seek information from experts and watch an instructional video. Someone might say, „What could be difficult about brushing?” Well, nothing if you know what you’re doing. Like with anything else, you can harm yourself and, ultimately, not achieve the desired results.

Dry brushing is a process that follows a regular routine. It stimulates the lymphatic system, which is actually crucial for the entire process. Properly stimulated lymph, for example, on the legs or thighs, yields better results in reducing cellulite. Of course, dry brushing is not a 100% solution for getting rid of cellulite; it’s more like an addition to firm the skin. It’s important to remember that after dry brushing, when the lymph is sufficiently stimulated, it’s beneficial to take at least a 30-minute walk for even better effects. This allows the lymphatic drainage to firm up. Lymph that remains stagnant doesn’t work properly, and if it doesn’t work, cellulite accumulates, meaning fatty tissue.

Returning to my journey with dry brushing, I decided not to give up and give it another try. Initially, I started with short evening sessions—5 minutes on each side of the body—and then incorporated gentle yoga for enhanced effects. Later, I dry brushed in the morning and wet brushed in the evening, and of course, I did strength training in the morning and yoga in the evening.

The effects that occurred are incredibly soft skin, delicate as velvet – it’s tempting to touch it. I stopped doing exfoliation because the brush itself is like an exfoliator. Additionally, it beautifully shapes and firms the body – again, I emphasize that it’s just an added bonus. It evens out the skin tone and is deeply nourished in a completely natural way.

The whole secret lies in the angle at which we position the body brush – it’s not about scrubbing, but rather gently sweeping the skin as if we wanted to remove invisible dust from it.

Let’s not rub too hard and avoid areas with skin issues such as advanced varicose veins, acne, allergies, inflammations, or wounds.

The best dry brush for everyone means something different. It’s worth considering a gadget that has additional advantages such as a foldable or detachable handle and can also serve as a wet body scrubber. This way, we can use one brush for two purposes. Everything else is a matter of personal preference, so it’s worth trying out a few options to find the one that brings us the most pleasure, such as bristles that provide an extra body massage.

Brushing is all about consistency, and the result will come naturally. Patience is also crucial, but the most important thing is to do it with love and gentleness, and most importantly – it’s for your health, with the added bonus of achieving a beautiful body, which will only bring greater satisfaction.

See you!
