Healthy Chocolate Mousse for Pancakes and Toast
Healthy chocolate mousse is a perfect addition to pancakes, toast, or oatmeal. It has a rich cocoa flavor, a velvety texture, and contains no refined sugar. Quick to prepare and made from natural ingredients, it’s packed with nutrients. Ideal for those who love sweet breakfasts but prefer healthier options.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 avocado
- 4 pitted dates soaked for 15 minutes
- 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
- 1/4 cup almond milk (try my homemade almond milk)
- Pinch of salt optional
PREPARATION
Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until completely smooth.
Spoon into serving dishes and top with your favorite ingredients!
** If you want to skip out on the dates, feel free to remove them and swap the milk for equal parts maple syrup.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 4 days, or in the freezer for 3 months.
